La maison Lespire

The houses built in Gothic style around the market square reflected the wealth and prosperity of the owners of the smelters. Unfortunately, only one house of this period remains and is distinguished by a staircase with high steps in front of the house. The ground floor dates from the 16th century and the 1st floor from 1616.  The house Lespire is on the monumental and architectural heritage list of Wallonia.
